About the Event
Where curiosity meets the great outdoors! 6th-12th grade students are invited to conduct stream ecology investigations, learn wilderness navigation and identify local plants and wildlife. Through guided exploration and exciting experiments, campers develop critical thinking skills while fostering a deep connection with the natural world the wonders of science through hands-on adventures in nature. We will hike the Adahi trail and Papoose Park during our explorations while gathering water samples to view using microscopes in the field. Nature journaling while identifying native species of plants and wildlife watching throughout the camp.
